Jesús Pobre Riurau Sunday Market

A much-loved producers' market under the old riurau in Jesús Pobre, a village in Dénia's municipality: seasonal fruit and veg, homemade bread and jams, cakes, oil, wine and crafts. Sunday mornings most of the year; in summer it moves to Sunday evenings (18:00–23:00). On the first Sunday of the month the antiques fair takes its place.

Dénia has four regular markets: the Dénia Monday Street Market: every Monday, 8:00–13:30, at Explanada de Torrecremada, Dénia; the Dénia Friday Fruit & Veg Market: every Friday, 8:00–13:30, at Carrer La Via, Dénia; the Jesús Pobre Antiques & Collectors' Fair: first Sunday of the month, 9:00–14:00, at Riurau, Carrer del Pinaret 2, Jesús Pobre (Dénia) and the Jesús Pobre Riurau Sunday Market: every Sunday except the first of the month, 9:00–14:00, at Riurau, Carrer del Pinaret 2, Jesús Pobre (Dénia). The next one is Friday 6 November: Dénia Friday Fruit & Veg Market.

Markets set up early and start packing away around lunchtime, so go early for the best choice and an easier parking space. They can be cancelled or moved when the fairground hosts the town's feria, and on some public holidays.
