Alicante's biggest street market, with nearly 400 stalls on Calle Teulada every Thursday and Saturday morning: clothes, shoes, fruit and veg and household goods. When a market day falls on a public holiday it's usually moved to the day before.
Alicante has two regular markets: the Alicante (Babel) Street Market: every Thursday and Saturday, 8:00–14:00, at Calle Asilo / Pardo Gimeno, Babel, Alicante and the Alicante Gran Vía–Teulada Market: every Thursday and Saturday, 8:00–14:00, at Calle Teulada, Alicante. The next one is tomorrow: Alicante (Babel) Street Market.
Markets set up early and start packing away around lunchtime, so go early for the best choice and an easier parking space. They can be cancelled or moved when the fairground hosts the town's feria, and on some public holidays.
