The Saturday rastro at the fairground — one of the largest flea markets in the region, with antiques, second-hand books, furniture, clothes and bric-a-brac, 9am–2pm. Not held when a feria is using the fairground.
One of the biggest weekly markets on the Costa del Sol — several hundred stalls of clothes, footwear, fresh produce, plants, nuts and crafts at the fairground every Tuesday, 9am–2pm. Not held when a feria is using the fairground (notably Feria del Rosario week in October).
Fuengirola's big annual fair in honour of its patron, the Virgen del Rosario (7 October) — a week of horses and carriages by day, and casetas, peñas, sevillanas, concerts and a funfair at the fairground by night. Free entry to all casetas; the fairground is a short walk from the train station.

Fuengirola's Christmas lights switch-on around Plaza de la Constitución and the town hall, with light-and-music shows on winter evenings, a Christmas market and family activities through to Epiphany. The switch-on is usually in late November; this year's date is confirmed nearer the time.

Midsummer night on the beach — bonfires, music and a midnight dip in the sea for luck along Fuengirola's seafront, with the whole town down on the sand.
The fishermen's patron is carried through the old fishing quarter of Los Boliches and into the sea at dusk, surrounded by boats and fireworks — one of the most atmospheric evenings of the Fuengirola year, with a neighbourhood fair alongside.

The summer concert series on the seafront stage below Sohail Castle — international and Spanish headliners through the season, with the castle floodlit behind. Don Omar (16 July) is the first act confirmed for 2027; the full line-up is announced over the winter.
