Summer is headlined by Starlite Occident, the glamorous festival of big-name concerts in a floodlit former quarry above town, while the Palacio de Congresos hosts a steady stream of tribute shows, comedy and family spectacles the rest of the year. Come December, the Christmas lights and market fill Alameda Park through to the Three Kings parade in January.
