Hogueras de San Juan

Alicante's greatest festival, a Festival of International Tourist Interest — giant satirical monuments (hogueras) fill the streets, with daily mascletàs in Plaza de los Luceros, the flower offering, parades and nightly fireworks, climaxing in the midnight Cremà on 24 June when the monuments are burned.
