Carnaval de Águilas

One of Spain's greatest carnivals — a Festival of International Tourist Interest, the third after Tenerife and Cádiz. All-night parades of feathered, flamboyant peñas, Don Carnal and Doña Cuaresma and the Cascamorras take over the town. 2027 theme: 'El Bosque Encantado'. Big week ~4–13 Feb; final dates confirmed nearer the event.
